Chelsea Scouting Belgian Wonderkids

Chelsea have sent scouts to compile reports on Belgian youngsters, according to reports in Belgium.

HLN.be are reporting that Chelsea scout Tony White has been sent to Anderlecht to keep an eye on youngsters Youri Tielemans and Leander Dendoncker.  White was in the stands at the vanden Stock stadium to watch the Purple-Whites’ 2-0 victory over Kortrikj at the weekend.

The newspaper claims that the duo would set the West London club back €41.2 million.

Both Tielemans and Dendoncker are midfielders and have featured heavily in both the UEFA Champions League and Belgian Pro League this season.

17-year old Youri Tielemans is a defensive midfielder who featured against Arsenal in the Champions League group stage this season.  Already a solid frame at such a young age, he has technique and composure on the ball with a big future ahead of him.  He is already in his second full season with the Belgian club.

Leander Dendoncker is 19-years old and plays a similar role but only has a handful of appearances under his belt.  He is starting to break through and has two caps for the Belgian under-21s.
