These teenagers do not know their 90s music and it’s an absolute outrage

10 students of an American high school were given the task of identifying several songs from quite frankly the golden era of music.


‘But I only have five years experience of the 90s!’ bemoans one contestant who just made us feel like we’re 105.

First up, good old 90s classic I Saw The Sign which would have stumped the students had it not recently been featured in Pitch Perfect.

And most of them knew Gangsta’s Paradise, but most questioned ‘who the hell is Coolio?’
Give that kid a detention immediately.

But as the years progressed the success rate increased.

Chumbawumba was labelled ‘by far the best song that’s been played yet’ (that kid is so going far in life) and the final track of Backstreet Boys prompted a good old singsong.

‘Scuse us while we shuffle off to bed with our zimmer frame and try not to wet ourselves on the way.
