Watt, Wozniacki take in Wisconsin-Duke title game together

Rory McIlroy might want to close his eyes for this one.

Tennis star Caroline Wozniacki, formerly McIlroy's girlfriend, showed up Monday in an unexpected place -- sitting in primo seats at the NCAA men's basketball national championship game between the Wisconsin Badgers and Duke Blue Devils.

Wozniacki is certainly not shy in the public eye and has popped up at many a sporting event before, but this time she was sitting next to Houston Texans superstar defensive lineman and Wisconsin alum JJ Watt.
So is it just coincidence? Are they just two friends hanging out at a basketball game? Or is there something more to it? Let's go to the visual evidence:

OK, not much there. Just standing calmly.

Oh boy. Now they're laughing together.

And there's Watt breaking out the Wisconsin 'W'. Smooth move, JJ.

We'll call it inconclusive so far, but something tells us we'll be hearing from one or both of these athletes about what was going on here. As of 10 p.m. ET Monday, there was nothing about it on Wozniacki's very active Twitter feed, though she did get to play mini-tennis with President Obama this weekend:

This is probably not what McIlroy wants to see as he spends the week preparing for the Masters, which tees off Thursday in Augusta, Ga. McIlroy and Wozniacki dated from 2011 to 2014.

Unfortunately for Watt and his guest, the Badgers came up short, losing to Duke 68-63.
